I was born with a congenital scoliosis that caused low-back pain through much of my adolescence and early adulthood. It was aggravated when I was a pedestrian hit by a 4x4 pick-up truck and suffered other injuries. Through a combination of physical therapy, chiropractics, yoga, posture training, and body mechanics training, I learned how to listen to my body and use it better. I have since straightened my scoliosis. Now, in my mid-40s, I have zero body pain, EVER.
After years of working one-on-one and in small groups with clients, I have developed a keen eye for simple body posture and movement adjustments that can help alleviate pain for mis-use and over-use.
